Staffed 24 hours per day by board certified emergency physicians, mid-level providers and specialty trained nurses, the emergency department provides immediate triage, treatment and crisis intervention for ill and critically injured patients. The emergency department offers nine treatment areas specifically designed for cardiac, trauma, and general medical-surgical emergencies. A four-bed Excel Care area was created to provide prompt treatment for patients who may need to see a medical provider but do not have a life threatening condition. Our annual patient volume is approximately 30,000.
