Critical Care

The Critical Care Unit is designed to care for patients requiring extensive care and close observation. The CCU nurses provide continual assessment, evaluation and interventions for the critically ill patients as their conditions demand. With the use of advanced technology, the monitoring capabilities have been modernized to include derived 12 lead electrocardiograms and noninvasive, bioimpedence, hemodynamic monitoring. The CCU nurses’ clinical expertise allows nurses to balance skills such as handling life-threatening situations, assisting the patient to achieve their optimal health state and allowing the patient to die with dignity.
