Children's Services

Recognizing the special needs of young patients, our pediatric program provides a special, colorful environment for children and family members. Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay overnight in their child's hospital room. Parents, we believe, are a vital part of the health care team. Our pediatric nurses, after involving parents or caregivers, design a nursing plan to best suit the needs of the child.

Pediatric Services has two Media Fun centers to help entertain the children and families during hospitalization. They may watch DVDs and/or play video games as a distraction during difficult times. In addition, staff can entertain patients by taking them for a ride in our wagon.
