Foundation Overview
The Laurens County Health Care Foundation was established in 1989 as the philanthropic arm of the Laurens County Health Care System. It was created for the purpose of enhancing patient care within the walls of the hospital and providing support for programs and services that take the hospitals caring arm into the community.
Through the Laurens County Health Care Foundation, individuals, families, businesses and other foundations are provided with a vehicle in which they can financially support programs and services offered by the hospital.
The Laurens County Health Care System has invested in the Foundation by providing 100% of the operating expenses. This commitment to better healthcare for our community also means there are no administrative fees taken form gift dollars. Your entire contribution goes towards the area of choice.
The Laurens County Health Care Board of Directors are the caretakers of all treasures given to the Foundation. They ensure proper stewardship and oversee the planning and execution of the foundation’s work.
Because healthcare affects everyone, there is nothing more noble or worthy than giving philanthropically to The Laurens County Health Care Foundation. A gift to the Foundation is a commitment to the health of this community for now and generations to come.

Laurens County Health Care Foundation, a charitable foundation chartered under the laws of the State of South Carolina, is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, making your gifts to Health Care Trust tax deductible (South Carolina Charitable Organization #1592).
